OASIS SINGLE GIVEAWAY

SOME MIGHT SAY
b/w Talk Tonight, Acquiesce, and Headshrinker!
This is a killer single from a killer band, and is an original Creation Records release from the 90s, not a reissue.  Case is cracked, disc and art are in fine condition and would look great in a new case.  In the cover art you’ll notice Noel watering a sculpture, and Liam waving on the bridge.

Anyone who was following this blog prior to today’s post is eligible to win this single!

Answer the following question correctly in an ‘ask’ to me, and I’ll pick a random winner from all the correct answers.

Question: On what part of his body did Liam once have a piercing?

I will send this single anywhere in the world, so join in no matter where you are!  I will select a winner in one week, so get your answer in before then!

Happy fact-hunting!

"Believe it or not, this is about Richard Ashcroft. He always seemed to me to not be very happy with what was going on around him, almost trying too hard. That’s why it goes, ‘He was bound with the weight of all the words he tried to say’. I always felt he was born at the wrong time, and in the wrong place, and he was always trying to say the right things, but they came out wrong.
"I played him the song, and he nearly started crying. I was like, ‘Come on, hold yourself together, son! Easy now.’ In a way, it’s about all my friends who are in groups. We are bound with the weight of all the words we have to say. We’re always looking for more." - Noel Gallagher on Cast No Shadow (‘95 Select Magazine)

The Dark of The Matinee by Franz Ferdinand

You must follow, leave this academic factory
You will find me in the matinee
The dark of the matinee
It’s better in the matinee
The dark of the matinee is mine
